This is raw footage I found diving into my hard drive. I remember being fascinated with what I was seeing in the screen while recording this images. This was recorded in the Ucayali river on our way to Iquitos from Pucallpa. The boat we where travelling on stopped in the night to pick up some passengers, and thousands of insects got drawn by the boat’s light, creating this frantic and chaotic dance around it.

London Commuters #8
This is the first post of 2013! Following a few more portraits from my project ‘Commuters’. Soon I will have to start making decisions on how I present the series and what sort of discourse/narrative I want to create. And the most important, what am I showing in this series? Do these pictures evoke something? Or are just a cold and systematic record of everyday train commuters in London?
